Hyderabad, Namasthe Yellampally: To improve women’s safety and police – community interaction, Hyderabad CP CV Anand, IPS, inaugurated two new facilities. The new Begumpet Women’s Police Station in the North Zone features personnel barracks, modern workstations, counseling rooms, and record rooms. The Hyderabad City Police Incognito SHE team has also received significant upgrades in terms of infrastructure, technology, and personnel. Six additional teams were pressed into service, increasing the number of existing teams from nine to fifteen. The facility has modern workstations, reception counters, victim facilitation rooms, and other amenities to provide a welcoming environment for women in distress. It spans 2000 square feet and includes 5 AV vehicles outfitted with digital screens.
