Balanagar, July 13 (Namasthe Yellampally): On reliable information SOT Balanagar Zone team along with Sanathnagar PS staff have busted a organized gang that used to deceive Self drive car owners and take their cars on rent and using the cars for their monitory benefits by mortgaging them to third persons and the accused changed their addresses. One such of victims Mosafir Self drivers cars and Travel Agency owner who gave seven cars Bearing Nos. 1)TS07JQ1877 (Maruthi Suzuki) 2)TS02EQ7520 (Ertiga) 3)AP31BZ3999 (Innova) 4) TS07GG0519 (Swift) 5)TS08GS0190(Swift) 6)TS27E0575 (Mahindra Thar) 7)TS07JE7229 (Swift) to them approached Sanathnagar Police, basing on registered a case and along with SOT Balanagar Zone made efforts and succeeded in nabbing 02 accused and seizing 15 four wheelers from their possession.

modus operandi:
The accused used to take cars on rent from Self-drive car owners and used to pay the monthly rent regularly for some days. Then after some days the accused did not paid the rent and when the owners asks about rent the accused cheated the owners and changed their mobile numbers, addresses. Then the accused mortgaged some cars to third persons and renting some cars and using the rental money for their monetary benefits.
