Cyberabad police arrested ‘Five Men’ who involved in Kidnap & Murder case

KIDNAP CUM MURDER CASE OF JAGADGIRIGUTTA PS, CYBERABAD

On 05.10.2024 at 0400 hours, received a Man Missing complaint from Smt. Koya Hema W/o Venkatappanna Reddy, age 40 yrs, R/o East Sainagar, Allwyn colony, Jagadgirigutta, stating that 04.10.2024 at morning hours her husband Koya Venkatappanna Reddy age: 54 years. He left from home for duty and did not return and also not lifting phone calls. Basing on the above complaint case was registered in Crime No. 1112/2024, U/H Man Missing and investigation has been taken up. On Credible information, yesterday i.e, on 6-10-2024 the accused persons A-2 to A-6 were taken into custody at Kothakota of Wanaparthy Dist. on interrogation they confessed that the missing person Koya Venkatappanna Reddy and A-1: Bathina Dwarakanath Reddy are known to each other for the last 4 years. They did business of catering and cleaning services in Kakinada Port in the years 2021 & 2022 and some clashes arose between them due to financial transactions. When the missing person claimed that A-1: Dwarakanath Reddy had to pay 28 Lakhs to him, the accused A1 escaped from Kakinada. As such by closing the business K. Venkatappanna Reddy along with his family shifted to East Sai Nagar, Allwyn Colony and residing in a rented house since 2022 and joined as AGM in MEIL, Balanagar. About two months ago, K. Venkatappanna Reddy came to know that Dwaraka Nath Reddy is residing in Tirupathi. When K. Venkatappanna Reddy went to Tirupathi and asked to return his money the A1 has given cheques. Subsequently, when the cheques were bounced the deceased went to Tirupathi again pressurized the A1 and made settlement to pay the amount by 06.10.2024. Upon which Dwaraka Nath Reddy got offended, decided to eliminate K. Venkatappanna Reddy to evade the payment of money. Then he discussed with his friend A-2: Sudhakar Reddy, for which A-2: Sudhakar Reddy also agreed. Both were hatched a plan to eliminate the K. Venkatappanna Reddy. Then A-2 engaged A-3 to A-6 who are known to him. As per their plan of A1 Dwaraka Nath Reddy and A2 Sudhakar Reddy made Rickey on Venkata Appanna Reddy about 15 days back. On 1-10-2024, A1 to A6 came to Hyderabad and tried to kidnap him but they could not succeed. As Again, on 04.10.2024 the accused persons A1 to A6 came to Hyderabad, kept watch on the movements of the deceased, intercepted him at Mythri Nagar, Kukatpally at around 07:45 PM, while he was returning to his house from office, forcibly dragged him in to the car bearing No. AP 31 DM 8512 belongs to A1 and made him unconscious by applying chloroform. They directly drove the car towards Kothakota. As per their plan tied his hands and legs and thrown him in to the Krishna River from Beechupally Bridge and fled away. As per their confession of the accused, altered the section of law from Man Missing to U/sec: 140(1), 103(1), 238 r/w 61 (2) BNS. Subsequent to the confession of accused searches were made in the Krishna river near Beechupally Bridge with the help of Swimmers, on continuation efforts traced out dead body at Budidapadu of Pebbair PS limits, which is 15 KMs far away from the Beechupally Bridge. Further, Special teams formed to nab the absconding accused A1. Bathina Dwarakanath Reddy.

A6-Annika Manikanta , S/o Venkata Ramana, aged 25 years, R/o. Harjana Wada, Nadiveedi, Patha Kadapa district, AP State.
